Responsibilities:
- Perform meat cutting and preparation tasks according to established standards and procedures
- Ensure proper handling, packaging, and storage of all meat products
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area, equipment, and tools
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their meat selection and answering any questions they may have
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a butcher or in a similar role within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food preparation
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in meat processing
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to handle and package meat products efficiently and safely
- Excellent customer service skills to assist customers with their needs
