Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior CAD Technician to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will support the creation and development of precise technical drawings and schematics for various construction and engineering projects. Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and SolidWorks
- Develop schematics, layouts, and construction documentation in accordance with project specifications
- Support the creation of construction plans, technical reports, and presentation materials
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure accuracy and clarity of drawings
- Maintain organized CAD files and documentation for easy retrieval and revision control
- Incorporate client feedback and design changes into existing drawings efficiently
- Participate in team meetings to review project progress and clarify design requirements
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and SolidWorks is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of drafting principles and schematic development
- Experience with construction documentation and technical schematics
- Knowledge of civil or structural design processes is a plus
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications accurately
- Basic understanding of 2D animation techniques is an advantage for visual presentations
- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective communication skills
