Landscape Labourer – Maintenance Enhancement
We are seeking a Landscape Labourer to join our Maintenance Enhancement team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled labourer who has prior experience in either construction or landscape maintenance. This involves the operation of equipment such as mowers, stone & chain saws, completion of various hardscape projects, and other landscape finishing projects. In this role you will be expected to work independently or collaboratively to complete tasks safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Responsibilities:

Operation of equipment such as push mower, string trimmer, blower, stick edger

Cultivate, weed, and edge flower beds
-
Minimal pruning
-
Raking debris and cleanup of site
-
Ability to follow directions and complete projects such as paver lift & relay on sidewalks or driveways, site drainage improvements, garden bed re-mulching, fence repairs

Ability to operate common equipment such as a skidsteer, excavator, stone & chain saws, destumper, and chipper an asset

Reporting on time, daily to the Crew Leader

Load and unload work trucks
Qualifications:
-
Prior experience in the horticulture/landscape industry is beneficial

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Ability to lift 15 – 30 kg, as well as to perform physically-demanding tasks

Own transportation
