Job Overview
Advance Autobody is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Paint Technician to join our collision repair team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, refinishing, and painting vehicles to restore them to pre-accident condition. This role requires precision, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete and spot refinishing of vehicle surfaces using proper techniques and equipment.
- Prepare panels and surfaces for paint application through sanding, masking, priming, and cleaning.
- Mix and match paint colors using computerized systems or manual methods to ensure accurate color blending.
- Apply undercoats, basecoats, and clearcoats using spray guns in a controlled environment.
- Inspect finished surfaces for imperfections and perform final polishing or corrections as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in automotive refinishing or collision repair.
- Proficiency in color matching, paint mixing systems, and spray booth operation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes.
- Familiarity with automotive painting tools and safety equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- valid drivers license

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
