The Whitewood Landfill is looking for motivated and qualified individuals to work at our landfill located in Whitewood Sk. Heavy equipment experience and construction experience is preferred but we are open to training induvial on specific tasks to grow their skill set. These roles would work Monday to Friday with flexible hours options.
The Whitewood Landfill is looking for hard working individuals looking to operate equipment including excavators, rock trucks and dozer.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-operational inspections and routine maintenance checks.
- Move, load, excavate, grade, and transport materials as required.
- Read and follow site plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions.
- Monitor equipment performance and report mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate equipment logs and daily reports.
- Follow workplace safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and other construction activities when needed.
- Coordinate with supervisors and ground crews to complete projects on schedule
