Summary: Check production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to make, measure and mix ingredients to form dough or batter according recipes. Follow all process instructions, procedures and formulas to ensure all final specifications are met
Key Responsibilities:
- Check production schedule to determine variety and quantity of goods to bake
- Measure and mix ingredients to form dough or batter and following recipes
- Empty raised sponge dough into mixer using hoist and adds ingredients to complete mixture
- Weigh and measure ingredients which are manually fed into mixer
- Feel dough/batter for desired consistency
- Follow all process instructions, procedures and formulas to ensure all final specifications are met; provide accurate record keeping of lot codes, batches, and required data
- Promote the importance of, comply with, and actively participate in the company’s Safety Policy including HACCP protocols, to help maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Properly use equipment and materials to perform all production tasks
- Contribute to a positive team spirit
Required Qualifications:
- Fluent in English (read, write and communicate verbally)
- Must be able to understand, follow and apply detailed oral or written instructions
- Good organizational abilities with the ability to organize production information into written record format
- Ability to adapt to change
- Must be attentive to detail and ensure accuracy of work
- Must be punctual and flexible
