We are seeking an EPC associate for our Quality Department in our Woodstock, ON location. The position rotates 2 weeks on day shift (7am-3:30pm) and 2 weeks on afternoons (3:10pm – 11:40pm).
Your success is our success… Our sales have grown annually at a compounded rate of 18.0% for the last eight years, tripling our business, while making us one of the largest leading Tier II automotive stamping and assembly suppliers.
The position duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Perform EPC (early product containment) for new launch parts
- Inspect stamped / welded / assembled product to standards defined in Quality Documentation and work instructions
- Sort / inspect / rework contained product to established work instructions
- Completion of visual and gage inspections
- Completion of associated inspection documentation
- Maintain records of audits, open communication between Production & Quality and overall professional behavior as a member of the Quality team
- 5S Work area organization adherence and improvement
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ability to work overtime is required
Qualifications we are looking for include, but are not limited to:
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-3 years previous manufacturing experience
- Fundamental understanding of Quality Documentation and In-Process Inspection
- Knowledge of gage use
- Will have the ability to work a schedule that allows completion of the job on a daily basis.
- Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to understand and follow written work instructions for gage use and part inspection
- Able to lift up to 35lbs, stand and walk on a continuous basis.
- Exposure to noisy environment
