About the Role
We are looking for an organized and reliable Office & Field Coordinator to support our day-to-day office and field operations. This position will work closely with management, drivers, mechanics, customers, office staff and field staff to make sure jobs are properly scheduled, communicated, documented, and completed.
The ideal candidate is someone who can handle multiple tasks, communicate well, stay organized, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Office Responsibilities
- Assist management with administrative tasks.
- Maintain organized records for vehicles, equipment, customers, and jobs.
- Assist with safety and compliance work.
- Coordinate paperwork between the office and field staff.
- Assist with tracking and maintaining company records and documents.
- Complete outside errands and business-related visits, such as vehicle ownership transfers, registrations, document drop-offs, and inventory or supply shopping.
- Assist with other office duties as required.
Field Coordination
- Coordinate with drivers, operators, mechanics, and field employees.
- Communicate job details, locations, customer information, and special instructions to field staff.
- Monitor job progress and provide updates to customers and management.
- Coordinate vehicle movements, equipment requirements, and service calls.
- Assist with emergency and after-hours job coordination when required.
- Ensure completed jobs are properly documented and paperwork is returned to the office.
Operations Support
- Coordinate between towing, transportation, repair, and administrative departments.
- Track outstanding jobs and follow up to ensure completion.
- Assist with scheduling maintenance and repairs for company vehicles and equipment.
- Help maintain accurate records for fuel, equipment, parts, and other operational items.
- Identify issues and communicate them to management promptly.
- Support the team wherever required to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable handling multiple priorities at the same time.
- Valid driver's licence is preferred.
- Must have experience in the towing, trucking, transportation, or repair industry is an asset.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
