CTS - Coastal Transportation & Storage Ltd. is currently seeking a Class 1 Driver. The position is Full Time, 4 Days a week, with extra shifts available if desired. Coastal Transportation & Storage is Vancouver Islands safest and most reliable LTL and TL delivery service, ‘getting there when others can’t’. Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 License
- Proven experience in commercial driving
- Proficiency in forklift operation and freight handling
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols in transportation
Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload freight, utilizing electric pallet jacks and hand dolly's
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.50 per hour
