Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily office operations, and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, experience with office administration, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Manage and maintain financial records using QuickBooks.
- Perform data entry with accuracy and attention to detail
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, document organization, and record keeping
- Answer multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
- Greet visitors at the front desk and provide excellent customer support
- Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings
- Assist with office supply management and general clerical duties
- Proofread documents for accuracy before distribution
- Support medical or dental office operations as needed, including patient or client communication
Skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Google Workspace
- Strong computer skills with experience in data entry and clerical tasks
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous administrative experience, including front desk duties and multi-line phone systems
- Customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and client interaction experience
- Attention to detail for proofreading, filing, and maintaining accurate records
- Experience in bookkeeping or financial management is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical or dental office procedures is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with team members
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
