Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented contract per job based Cabinet Installer to join our woodworking and cabinetry team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and construction, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. This role offers an opportunity to work on installing custom cabinetry projects in a dynamic environment that values craftsmanship and precision.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to install custom cabinets and furniture
- Cut, shape, and assemble wood components using hand tools, power tools, and other woodworking equipment
- Install cabinets and related fixtures on-site with attention to detail and quality standards
- Perform restoration work on existing cabinetry or furniture pieces as needed
- Measure spaces accurately for proper fitment of cabinetry or woodwork
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Experience
- Proven experience in cabinetry installing, making or woodworking, with a portfolio of completed projects
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and other woodworking equipment
- Knowledge of construction is a plus
- Previous experience in restoration or remodeling projects is desirable
- Handyman experience or electrical/plumbing knowledge can be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Candidates should demonstrate excellent craftsmanship skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
Work on job sites through out Calgary.

Own installation tools needed (some site will have tools set-up)
