We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team in downtown Vancouver, near English Bay and Denman Street. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming environments for our clients. The ideal candidate will have prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience and a strong work ethic. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial spaces.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail stores, and public areas
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Restocking supplies and ensuring restrooms are clean and well-maintained
- Disposing of trash and recycling materials appropriately
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow established cleaning procedures to meet client specifications and standards
Experience
- Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to cleanliness and safety
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
