Registered Psychotherapist / Couple & Family Therapist (Part-Time, Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: In-person
Schedule: Approximately 6 hours per week, including evening and/or weekend availability Starting from September.
About Green Life Counseling
Green Life Counseling is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care that supports individuals, couples, and families in achieving meaningful and lasting change. We are seeking an experienced and passionate therapist to join our team on a part-time, fixed-term contract basis.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Master’s degree in Marriage/Couple & Family Therapy, Counselling Psychology, Psychotherapy, or a related field
- Current registration and good standing with one of the following professional bodies:
- College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
- Canadian Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (CAMFT)
- Ontario Association for Marriage and Family Therapy / Canadian Association for Couple and Family Therapy (OAMFT/CACFT)
- Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience providing individual and couples therapy
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong professionalism, work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- EMDR training is considered a strong asset
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality therapy services to individuals, couples, and families
- Maintain accurate, organized, and confidential client records in accordance with professional and ethical standards
- Communicate clearly, compassionately, and professionally with clients and team members
- Manage caseload responsibilities independently while maintaining accountability and clinical excellence
- Participate in team collaboration as required
