The Housekeeping Team plays a vital role in creating exceptional guest experiences at The Wellington Hotel. Reporting to the Housekeeping Leader and General Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail throughout our guest rooms and public spaces.

Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens and towels, replenish supplies, and ensure all surfaces are sanitized and organized
- Clean and sanitize washroom facilities.
- Maintain cleanliness o floors through sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
- Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and restocking linens and towels.
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas
- Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Consistently provide professional, engaging, and friendly service
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Follow all safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and guest privacy
Requirements
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in commercial cleaning environments
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently and independently
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs, bend, and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
- Reliable with a positive attitude and good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including weekends or holidays if required
