What You’ll Be Doing:
✔ Working with multiple brokers—you’ll be supporting a group of brokers with all their underwriting needs.
✔ Analyzing and underwriting mortgage applications—you’ll be solving puzzles and structuring deals that make sense.
✔ Submitting deals to lenders and securing approvals with the best possible terms.
✔ Communicating with lenders to determine which ones are the best fit for specific client needs.
✔ Helping the team prepare approval packages with accuracy and efficiency.
✔ Thinking creatively to find solutions for unique and complex investor financing situations.
What You Need to Succeed:
✅ Licensed to work as a Mortgage Underwriter in British Columbia.
✅ Minimum 3 years of mortgage underwriting experience, ideally in the broker channel.
✅ A problem-solving mindset—our brokers don’t have cookie-cutter deals, so creativity is key.
✅ Strong organizational skills—you need to be able to juggle multiple deals at once while maintaining precision.
✅ Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal. You’ll be dealing with brokers, lenders, and clients regularly.
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel—we LOVE Excel and hope you do too!
✅ A positive, team-oriented attitude—we work hard, but we also love to have fun while doing it.
