Welder/Fabricator/Assembler - Full Time
About us: Since 1999, Truck Wash Technologies Inc. (TWT), has designed, manufactured and installed custom vehicle wash systems. We are truly a team and have folks working in design, manufacturing/production, control programming, installation, sales and service.We are looking for someone to join our team at the production shop located in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. This is a full time role for a person with Welder/Fabricator/Assembler experience who is ready to work in a safety-focused, clean environment Monday - Friday with folks who really enjoy being there.
About you: You prioritize safety and are ready to share your Welder/Fabricator/Assembler qualifications and experience. You are a critical thinker with strong attention to detail.
Some of the things you will do in this role:
- Assembling truck and car wash systems, gear boxes, motors, pumps/pullies, bearings, pneumatic and hydraulic components, etc.
- Set up components with jigs for welding according to specifications. Weld components using manual equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead) and weld carbon, stainless steel and aluminum
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints. Cut material to specification, deburr, chamfer, bevel and grind as necessary.
- Operate drill press, milling machine, bandsaw, grinder, etc. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company standards.
- Other tasks as directed.
