Join a team of five physicians at the Cascade Medical Centre, a full-service primary care clinic attached to Princeton General Hospital. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to shape a diverse, rewarding practice.
General practice typically includes:
clinic, emergency, inpatients, and long-term care
Clinic hours:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
ER:
24/7 coverage
Call rotation:
1:6 for emergency
Those not doing ER shifts are responsible for their own inpatients
PGH ED sees approximately 17 patients per day
Overhead:
$5,000-$6,000 per month
Teaching:
Medical student/resident teaching provided at this site — great opportunity to mentor future physicians.
Special Interests:
Addictions medicine practice available if desired

- Eligible for The College of Family Physicians of Canada Cert. (CCFP)
- Doctorate in Medicine
- Eligible for licensure with CPSBC
- Coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association is mandatory
- PALS/ACLS/ATLS are assets but not mandatory.
Hours of work: Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
On call requirements: 1:6 plus one weekend out of every six to cover ER if providing ED coverage
Estimated Gross Income $650,000-900,000. APP contract in place for Emergency. Income will vary, this estimate is based on a 1.0 FTE covering both clinic & ED.
