Construction Foreman
We are currently looking for a strong leader that is a hardworking, quality minded, detail oriented, hands-on Construction Foreman to join our team.
In line with high quality standards and integrity of Wilhelm Contracting / Inside Out Renovations , as well as the adherence to generally accepted building practices; this individual will lead job site operations in order to facilitate quality residential and commercial construction, safe working conditions and superior customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise employees, (2-10 depending on project)
- Monitor the use of materials and resources to ensure that operations are cost effective.
- Your duties will require you to engage in framing, finish carpentry, taping, mudding, painting, flooring and other home building / commercial construction / renovation duties.
- Ensure that the high standards of customer satisfaction are met.
- You will be required to transport fellow employees, in company provided vehicles, to and from job sites safety.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Communicate continuously with management regarding projects, problems, staffing, training and other issues as they arise.
Experience / Skills
- Experience in residential and/or commercial construction or renovations. (10+ years)
- Well rounded experience and capabilities to take a project from start to finish sucessfully.
- Previous supervisory skills are beneficial.
- A strong leader with a matching work ethic and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Must be a team player, ability to motivate various personalities and skillsets to accomplish company objectives timely and profitably in a respectful manner.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to get things done according to timelines.
- Jobsite cleanliness to promote safety and respect to customers and company owned property.
- Have a clean driving record and a valid Driver’s License.
- Valid working at heights and First Aid / CPR certification beneficial.
