Trim Shop Fabricator – Metal Roofing
Steel Tile Co. – Innisfil, ON [Full-Time | $23-$30 / hour ]
Steel Tile Co. is a family-owned company and Canada's largest tile-profiled metal panel producer, manufacturing metal roofing in Innisfil since 1986. We're looking for an experienced trim shop fabricator to join our team, producing custom flashings and trim to tight tolerances for residential, agricultural, and commercial roofing projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Operating a CNC folder/bender to produce custom trims, flashings, and accessories
- Slitting coils and cutting flat stock to size for trim production
- Reading trim profiles and shop drawings, and translating customer orders into finished parts
- Performing quality checks on bends, hems, and dimensions before parts leave the shop
- Handling, storing, and staging coil and flat sheet material safely
- Keeping the shop organized and equipment maintained
Who We're Looking For
- Experience operating a Cidan CNC folder or equivalent (Schechtl, Jorns, Thalmann, RAS, etc.)
- Background in the metal roofing industry — you know common trim profiles, gauges, and materials
- Working knowledge of coil slitting and flat stock processing
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately and work to tight tolerances
- Comfortable lifting and handling sheet metal; safety-minded around machinery
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently once orders are in hand
Nice to Have
- Experience with roll formers or other sheet metal shop equipment
- Forklift or overhead crane experience
- Familiarity with different steel coatings and gauges used in roofing
