Job Summary
We are seeking a part-time, early morning Baker to join our Maverick's team at our Hammonds Plains location. The Baker will be responsible for preparing fresh doughnuts each morning while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.
Requirements
- Prepare and fry a wide range of donuts including filled donuts, twists, fritters, and cake donuts.
- Decorating donuts according to specific designs or customer requests
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Monitor and report on inventory levels
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with inquiries and fulfilling orders promptly when covering in the front of house
- Available for early morning shifts (4:00 am, or 3:30am on high volume days)
- Available Weekends
- Can lift a minimum 50 lbs
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Baker in a restaurant or bakery setting preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and food preparation techniques (Food Safety Certification required prior to start of employment)
- Proficiency in baking techniques and decorating
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Ability to troubleshoot and adjust production as needed
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Reliable transportation is required - our location is not on a bus route
