Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong multitasking skills, and experience in food and beverage service. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred. Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, both food and beverages
- Serve drinks and meals in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of presentation
- Operate POS systems including Micros POS for order entry and cashiering
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and dining space, adhering to food safety standards
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after shifts
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously with effective time management skills
- Uphold hospitality standards to create a welcoming environment for all guests
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations
- Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following all legal regulations and company policies, serving it right required before start date.
- Basic knowledge of the food industry, including menu items and beverage options
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment
