Octane Used Cars is one of the fastest-growing independent dealerships in the Greater Toronto Area, specializing in quality pre-owned vehicles and automotive financing solutions. We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Used Car Sales Manager to lead our sales team, drive performance, and help take our dealership to the next level.
Position Summary
The Used Car Sales Manager will oversee all aspects of the sales department, including managing sales staff, coaching and training team members, monitoring performance, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing dealership profitability. This role will also work closely with the finance department to assist with deal structuring, lender approvals, and helping customers secure financing solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve monthly sales targets.
- Train, coach, and develop sales consultants on sales processes and customer experience.
- Monitor daily sales activities, lead management, and CRM compliance.
- Assist customers and sales staff in closing deals when required.
- Work closely with finance managers and lenders to help secure vehicle financing approvals.
- Assist in structuring deals and presenting financing options to customers.
- Manage inventory presentation, pricing strategies, and vehicle merchandising.
- Review sales reports, KPIs, and team performance metrics.
- Ensure compliance with OMVIC regulations and dealership policies.
- Maintain a positive, professional, and high-energy sales environment.
- Handle customer escalations and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of automotive sales management experience.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience with automotive financing, lender relations, and deal structuring is considered a strong asset.
- Extensive experience using Dealertrack, including credit application submission, lender communication, deal desking, funding, and contract processing.
- Ability to structure and desk both prime and non-prime finance deals.
- Knowledge of CRM systems and lead management processes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- OMVIC License required.
- Valid Ontario Driver's License.
Pay: $60,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
