Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Nondestructive Testing (NDT) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various nondestructive testing methods to evaluate the integrity and quality of materials and structures. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safety, compliance, and quality standards across construction and manufacturing projects. The NDT Technician will utilize specialized inspection techniques, analyze data, and document findings to support quality control and construction inspection processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct nondestructive testing using methods such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, to assess material properties and detect flaws.
- Perform Visual inspections on construction sites and manufacturing facilities to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Collect and analyze data from tests, documenting results accurately for review and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with construction teams, engineers, and quality control personnel to interpret test results and recommend corrective actions if necessary.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment regularly to ensure accurate measurements.
- Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all testing procedures to promote a safe work environment.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining inspection findings, including photographs, data charts, and technical notes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or training in nondestructive testing techniques such as ultrasonic, magnetic particle, Liquid Penetrant inspection. Must be CGSB Level 2 certify.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret test data accurately.
- Experience in quality inspection and quality control within construction or manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Excellent data collection skills with attention to detail in documentation.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various field environments.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour
