DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Banquet Bartender
· Serves and responds in a highly professional manner to Members’ needs within the bar and lounge, including but not limited to serving food and beverage.
· Has extensive knowledge of club’s cocktails, wines, beers and spirits as well as daily specials and featured items along with inventory pars.
· Greets Members and Guests, takes their orders (food and beverage), utilizing suggestive/up-selling techniques.
· Prepares all drink orders for guests according to standard recipes.
· Maintains knowledge of the characteristics and description of every wine/champagne by the glass, major wines on the wine list, drink specials and wine specials.
· Maintains complete knowledge of designated glassware, ingredients, preparation method and garnishes for each drink.
· Directly responsible for the cleanliness of the GOL and Banquet bars as well as maintaining the glasswashers and cappuccino machine.
· Maintains follows proper inventory control and ordering procedures, maintaining established par stock levels.
· Is knowledgeable of the Club’s facilities and special promotions to encourage members to use the club’s profit centers.
· Maintains on a consistent basis the set-up and arrangement of the bar as per the Standard Operating Procedures for bottle and equipment display.
· Enhances revenue flow through suggestive selling techniques.
· Provides service to individual members that are delivered efficiently and in a friendly and professional manner.
· Keeps bar, lounge, and all work areas clean and in an orderly fashion.
· Clearly communicate last call at designated closing time to members and servers.
· Completes all daily closing reports in JONAS and closes off credit card batches.
· Monitors Guest’s behavior, maintaining safety guidelines as established through the AGCO License Act.
· Maintains the organization of the beer fridges and soft drink areas.
· Supports Best Practices for Markland Woods Clubhouse as set out by the Managers within the department and enforces them.
· Assists in dealing with member issues or concerns in the absence of the Club Managers.
· Checks and ensures that bar is clean and set properly prior to associates serving their first Member.
· Check and ensures that all sections are clean and set properly prior to associates finishing their as well as all side duties.
· Maintains cleanliness of Markland Wood’s Clubhouse throughout their shift.
· Maintains a positive outlook on situations that arise during the shift.

Pay: $19.50-$20.00 per hour
