The NRCB is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our Lethbridge office as a Data Entry Coordinator.
In this temporary full-time role, you will be primarily responsible for maintaining and updating information in the NRCB's Confined Feeding Operations (CFO) Database and supporting records management activities. Your work will help ensure the accuracy, completeness, and accessibility of information that supports regulatory and compliance activities across the organization.
The successful candidate may also provide administrative support to staff in the Lethbridge office while an employee is away on leave. These duties may include proofreading documents, records administration, and general office support. Upon the employee's return, the position will focus primarily on database maintenance and records management activities.
What You'll Do
Database and Records Management
- Create, update, validate, and maintain records within the NRCB's Confined Feeding Operations Database.
- Upload, organize, and maintain electronic records and scanned documents.
- Review information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Generate reports and perform data verification activities.
- Support records management and data quality initiatives.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and records.
Administrative Support
- Edit, proofread, and distribute correspondence and other documents.
- Assist with records administration and office coordination activities.
- Receive and distribute incoming mail and courier deliveries.
- Maintain office supplies and coordinate facility-related requests.
- Support communication and coordination between NRCB offices and external partners.
- Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in office administration, business administration, information management, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- Two to three years of administrative experience.
- Experience with data entry, database administration, records management, or data quality control would be considered an asset.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
