Are you a detail oriented, patient, and focused driver? Do you enjoy providing high quality customer service? We are looking for an experienced and physically fit commercial truck driver to provide route service coverage, delivering product and building customer relationships in Winnipeg, Brandon, Winkler Manitoba, and the surrounding areas. The Route Service Assistant will assist with coverage and training on various routes and will be eligible to compete for their own route when one becomes available.
Duties include but are not limited to:
· Ensuring customer satisfaction
· Daily delivery of product to customers in an orderly and efficient manner
· Coverage and training for various mat, linen, and uniform routes
· Acting as a liaison to District Manager & Customer Service regarding product issues/service/competitor information/client concerns
· Compliance with Quintex company policies and guidelines
The successful individual will possess the following characteristics:
· 1 years’ experience driving a commercial vehicle (Cube van with a 16 foot box)
· Previous customer service/sales experience, preferably in an industrial or service industry
· Ability to handle physically demanding work
· Punctuality and dependability
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Basic computer skills
· Own vehicle and/ or ability to cover out- of town routes as required (mileage will be reimbursed)
· Will be required to provide proof of a valid class 5 Manitoba driver’s license, clean drivers abstract, and criminal background check upon hire
