Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tank Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting Fluid safely and efficiently to various destinations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage freight effectively. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and that our customers receive their shipments on time.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport fluid to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload fluid, ensuring that all items are secured properly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle.
- Assist with basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure the truck is in optimal working condition
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid class 1 driver's license (CDL).
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair principles to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Familiarity with fluid handling procedures and regulations.
- Experience operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Attention to detail, particularly in maintaining accurate records and ensuring safety compliance
- Oilfield safety ticket would be an asset (H2S CSO First aid)
Schedule
7 days on 7 days off ( Wednesday first day worked Tuesday last day worked )
Average 200Hrs per month
Extras hours available on days off
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
