Summary
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Commercial Refrigeration Mechanic to join our dedicated team. This role is vital in maintaining and repairing commercial refrigeration systems, supporting our mission to deliver reliable HVAC solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration systems in accordance with industry standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals for system repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Perform routine maintenance to extend system lifespan.
- Document all work performed accurately for record-keeping.
- Assist in training junior staff when necessary.
Qulifiactions
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- Proven experience as a commercial refrigeration mechanic or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- 5+ years’ experience as a Red Seal Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.
- Experience managing a team is an asset.
- Red Seal Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.
- Class B Gas Fitter Certification is an asset.
- Electrical Field Safety Representative Certification (FSR) is an asset.
- Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Valid certifications relevant to HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
- Knowledge of plumbing, welding, and boiler systems is a plus.
- Prior experience with appliance repair or construction is advantageous.

Pay: $55.00-$72.00 per hour
