Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated live in Part-Time Carer/House mate, to provide high-quality support to a high functioning neurodiverse young man (30) in a home care setting. This role is ideal for those passionate about helping others, and who have experience or interest in assisted living. The Carer will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for the client by offering personalized assistance with daily activities, ensuring safety, and fostering independence.
Duties
- Provide companionship and promoting mental well-being.
- Help prepare nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any concerns to healthcare professionals or family members
- Support clients with activities that promote social engagement and mental stimulation
Experience
- Prior experience in home care is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Demonstrated caregiving skills including patience, empathy, and excellent communication.
- Ability to perform light cleaning and collaborate on meal preparation tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in home care or caregiving roles will be considered an advantage

Pay: $1,630.00-$3,000.00 per month
