SUBCONTRACT PAINTER WANTED – TORONTO / EAST YORK
The French Painter of East York is looking for a reliable, experienced subcontract painter to join and work alongside our crew on upcoming residential repaints across Toronto.
PAY & TERMS
- $25.00 – $35.00 / hour (depending on experience) or agreed daily rate
- Guaranteed Weekly Pay via e-transfer against simple invoice
- Flexible job durations (single day to multi-week projects)
THE WORK
- Working directly with our crew on site
- Rigorous prep work (masking, dust-free sanding, patching, caulking)
- Precise brush cutting-in & rolling (walls, ceilings, trim, doors, stairs)
- Maintaining clean, protected job sites
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years professional residential/commercial painting experience
- Registered business + current WSIB clearance certificate (non-negotiable)
- Functional English or French
- Great team player with a strong work ethic
- Able to lift 50 lbs & comfortable on ladders/scaffolding
- Own transportation to sites across Toronto
NICE TO HAVE
- Your own work vehicle & basic hand tools (major tools, dust extraction systems, ladders, & materials provided)
- Working at Heights certification
- Own commercial liability insurance
