Job Summary
You’ll work as part of a crew responsible for maintaining and improving outdoor spaces to the highest standard. This role is suited to someone who takes pride in quality work, pays attention to detail, and enjoys working outdoors. We care about doing the job right and expect the same from every member of the team.
What You’ll Do
Landscape Maintenance
- Mow, edge, trim, prune, fertilize, and aerate lawns
- Care for garden beds, shrubs, trees, and turf
- Mulch, weed, and clean up sites so they’re left neat and professional
- Use hand tools and power equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, rakes, and shovels
Equipment & Safety
- Operate tools and equipment safely and responsibly
- Complete basic equipment checks and report issues when needed
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
Teamwork
- Work alongside crew members to complete tasks efficiently
- Take direction from crew leads and adapt to changing priorities
- Maintain a respectful, professional attitude with teammates and clients
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Skills
- Previous landscaping or grounds maintenance experience is an asset
- Comfortable using common landscaping tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to lift and carry heavy materials
- Physically fit and capable of long, active workdays
Licences & Certifications
- Valid Ontario G-class driver’s licence with a clean abstract required
- Landscaping, horticulture and equipment certifications are a definite plus
