Laser Technician / Esthetician
Serenity Aesthetics – Kelowna, BC
$22–$25 per hour | Permanent full-time | Approximately 30 plus hours per week
Serenity Aesthetics is an established skin and laser clinic and a three-time Consumer Choice Award winner for Laser Hair Removal. We are seeking an experienced, certified Esthetician and Laser Technician to join our Kelowna team.
This is a blended treatment and reception position. The successful candidate must enjoy providing excellent treatments while also contributing to reception, client care, retail sales and the smooth daily operation of the clinic. This is not a treatment-only position.

Schedule
- Tuesday through Saturday
- Approximately 30 plus hours per week
- Some evening shifts until 7 PM required
- Regular Saturday availability is essential
- In-person position at our Kelowna clinic
Key Responsibilities
- Perform laser hair removal and advanced aesthetic treatments safely and confidently
- Conduct thorough consultations, skin assessments and contraindication checks
- Create appropriate treatment plans based on each client’s needs and goals
- Follow clinic protocols, treatment parameters, sanitation procedures and safety standards
- Maintain complete and accurate client charts, consent forms and treatment notes
- Provide clear pre-treatment and post-treatment instructions
- Recommend professional skincare products and future treatments with integrity
- Welcome clients and provide a polished, attentive experience from arrival through checkout
- Answer telephone, email and client inquiries professionally
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule and follow up on appointments
- Process payments, rebook clients and support efficient schedule management
- Assist with retail displays, inventory, treatment-room preparation and clinic cleanliness
- Contribute positively to team goals, client retention, rebooking and ethical retail sales
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or certification from a recognized esthetics or advanced esthetics program
- Formal laser training and a minimum of one year of hands-on professional laser experience
- Sound understanding of laser safety, Fitzpatrick skin typing, contraindications and treatment endpoints
- Previous reception, booking-system and client-service experience
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably with professional skincare
- Strong consultation and communication skills
- Comfortable discussing treatment plans, pricing, packages and home-care recommendations
- Dependable, punctual and able to manage responsibilities without constant supervision
- Calm and professional when addressing client questions or concerns
- Willingness to support reception and shared clinic responsibilities
- Availability Tuesday through Saturday, including some evenings
Experience with Candela laser hair removal systems, advanced facials, chemical peels, radio-frequency treatments, HydraFacial, microneedling or fractional laser treatments is considered an asset. Training will be provided on Serenity Aesthetics’ specific devices, protocols and service standards.
