Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Sandblaster to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing metal and other surfaces by abrasive blasting to remove rust, paint, scale, and other contaminants before coating or finishing. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate sandblasting and abrasive blasting equipment safely and efficiently.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, coating, or finishing.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain and clean blasting equipment and work area.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Load, unload, and move materials as needed.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Qualifications:
- Previous sandblasting or industrial surface preparation experience preferred.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of workplace safety practices and PPE requirements.
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
