We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Landscaper/Labourer to join our team. This role involves performing various outdoor maintenance and construction tasks to support landscape projects and ensure the upkeep of outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will have a passion for gardening, horticulture, and outdoor work, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, mowing, and fertilizing
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems
- Prepare sites for construction or planting by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground
- Install and repair irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of landscapes
- Support construction activities related to landscape projects, including fencing, paving, and other structural work
- Maintain equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and safety standards
- Follow safety protocols at all times during outdoor operations and machinery use
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- Prior experience with landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment maintenance and repair is a plus
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators is desirable
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and landscape maintenance techniques is beneficial
- Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions
- Construction experience or background in related trades is advantageous
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well within a team
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.25-$23.00 per hour
