Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchenware, dishes, and utensils, ensuring smooth kitchen operations. Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Ensure all items are cleaned according to health and safety standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including handling ingredients and basic kitchen duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper disposal of waste
- Support the kitchen staff by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly during busy service times
- Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and sanitation standards
- Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining an organized work environment
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food handling, and basic cooking is a plus
- Experience with cleaning and sanitation procedures in hospitality or hotel environments is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Previous serving or hospitality experience can be beneficial but is not mandatory
