Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This position involves fabricating, fitting, and welding a variety of steel components using MIG and Arc welding processes. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in producing high-quality workmanship.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of welding experience in a fabrication environment, including experience working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Proficient in Arc and MIG welding on various gauges and thicknesses of steel, including all welding positions.
- Experience in the manufacturing of compactors, garbage containers, and recycling bins is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to safely operate fabrication equipment, including brake presses, drill presses, shears, and other general shop machinery.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve fabrication and welding-related issues.
- Capable of working independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Willing and able to travel to various job sites throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) to perform welding, repair, and installation work as required.
- Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Possess a valid Ontario G Class driver's licence with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality workmanship, and adherence to workplace safety standards.
Wage TBD based on experience.
Pay: From $32.00 per hour
