Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced company driver to join our transportation team. This role offers the opportunity to manage freight / deliveries across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, and a solid understanding of cross referencing orders, securing and freight handling. Qualifications
- Applicant must be a team player, adaptable and able to follow direction
- Applicant must be fluent in english
- Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance tasks
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment and freight transportation & adhere to company collaboration agreement / code of conduct.
- Excellent time management skills and reliability in meeting delivery schedules
Duties
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic automotive repairs to ensure optimal operation
- Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, cross reference paperwork with load and communicate effectively with dispatch team
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during operations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
This role is vital for ensuring timely delivery of freight while maintaining safety standards. Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to operational excellence to safety, efficiency, and excellent service delivery in the logistics industry.
Pay: $40,000.00-$62,500.00 per year
