Set up and operate 4 and 5 axis CNC milling machines using proper tooling and efficient machining methods
Adjust and modify fixtures when required to ensure accurate machine setups and quality parts
Test and verify CNC programs, making adjustments to tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds as needed
Perform first-piece inspections and confirm all dimensions meet required tolerances before production release
Support production flow by deburring parts and preparing materials for loading into vises and fixtures
Prepare tooling and fixtures for upcoming jobs and communicate any special tooling or fixture requirements in advance
Make productive use of machine cycle times by inspecting parts, deburring, and cleaning tooling, holders, and machines from previous setups
Operate CMM equipment to verify dimensions and ensure part quality
Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, verniers, height gauges, and bore gauges accurately
Create loading instructions and tool sheets, and assist in training machine operators before jobs are released to production
Follow all company health and safety procedures and maintain safe work practices at all times
Wear and properly use all required personal protective equipment (PPE)
Assist with additional production or operational duties as required
