Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our restaurant team for Part-Time position. The ideal candidate should be willing to work in a fast paced environment while keeping customer service and food safety standards as their first priority. Ideal for someone who enjoys working with a team but also has ability to work alone if need be and is local to the town.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and food preparation areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the inventory management of food supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests and accommodating special requests when possible.
- Assist with cashiering duties as needed, including processing payments accurately.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
Skills
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Experience in food preparation techniques within the food industry.
- Ability to sanitize work areas and equipment properly to maintain health standards.
- Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance.
- Previous experience in food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Have the ability to work alone when needed as well as multi task between preparing customer orders and working on the to-do list left by store manager.
The position is Part-Time only and will require flexibility from the candidate to be able to work lunch rush or supper rush depending on the schedule's requirement with availability on Saturday & Sunday.
