AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $31.89 ou/or $50.25 (2024-2025)
The academic year starts on September 1 and ends on August 31.
Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.
These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay.
These rates will be applied until a new collective agreement is ratified. Retro will be paid after the ratification.

Various responsibilities such as discussion groups, marking of papers and exams, office hours to meet with students, and proctor at exams.
The student must meet the deadlines set by the supervisor and attend lectures if requested to do so.
Qualifications minimales | Minimum Qualifications :
Baccalauréat avec spécialisation en criminologie ou son équivalent.
La priorité sera donnée aux candidat(e)s conformément aux articles 18.5 et 18.6.
BA Honours in Criminology or equivalent.

Critère n° 1 : Expérience . Le candidat doit avoir suivi avec succès une formation « Walls to Bridges » ou « ComPaS » au centre de Détention de Hull ou au centre William E. Hay. Si le candidat a également exercé en tant que formateur lors de la formation des animateurs ComPaS dispensée au centre de rétention de Hull en juillet 2026, cela sera considéré comme un atout.
Critère 2 : Vérification de cote de sécurité. La formation se déroulant au sein d’un établissement sécurisé, le candidat retenu devra demander et obtenir (avant le 1er septembre 2026) une attestation de sécurité délivrée par les services de police afin de pouvoir se présenter sur le lieu de travail et exercer ses fonctions.
Criteria 1 : Experience. The candidate is required to have successfully completed a Walls to Bridges or ComPaS course at the Hull Detention Centre or William E Hay Centre. If the person also has the experience of having been a trainer in the ComPaS Facilitator Training that was offered at the Hull Detention Centre in July 2026, this will be considered an asset.
Criteria 2 : Security check. Because the course will take place inside a secure institution, the selected applicant will need to apply for and successfully receive (before September 1st 2026) a security check from police services in order to be present in the workplace and do the work.
