Reporting to Senior Leadership, this position oversees the City’s parking management function and leads a team of unionized and exempt technical staff. The Manager provides day‑to‑day leadership, coaching, performance management, and workload planning to support the effective delivery of curbside and parking initiatives. The role also coordinates the work of consultants and contractors, develops annual work plans, and ensures high‑quality, service‑oriented execution across all curbside, parking, and EV charging programs.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of education and experience in business development and operations, transportation planning, engineering, parking management, or related municipal programs, supported by at least seven years of progressively responsible experience. You have managed capital projects in a public sector environment, led technical teams, and built strong working relationships across diverse internal and external stakeholders. Your background includes developing and implementing curbside or parking programs, applying technical standards, and navigating complex operational, financial, and policy considerations within a municipal or business context ensuring programs are delivered with strategic insight, technical rigor, and strong organizational alignment.
