Role Description
As a key member of the operations support team, the Field Helper & Warehouse Assistant reports to the Operations Manager and provides general warehouse and field support for the corporation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Warehouse Assistant
- Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse
- Ensuring the proper disposal of paint and other consumables
- Sorting and storing incoming warehouse inventory
- Offloading/onloading/cleaning fleet vehicles.
- Pick up and drop of fleet to and from employees and service centres
- Computer updates
- Other duties as required.
Field Helper
- Assist the field teams with on site set up of equipment
- Support the field crews with work activities in various locations
- Prepare equipment for field crews
- Assist with traffic control and other on site field activities
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and/or Office and/or warehouse training.
- Automotive experience (an asset)
- G Driver’s License
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent problem solving and diagnostic ability
- Self-starting and adaptable
