What You’ll Be Doing
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect, service and maintain a diverse fleet of construction equipment including heavy equipment, compact and ground engaging equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions and make required repairs. Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of inspections, maintenance and work orders.
- Contribute to a professional and safe work environment by keeping the shop and yard clean, and following all company policies and procedures, and safety requirements.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Preferably 5+ years of mechanical experience, working on a variety of construction equipment.
- Must have own tools, but some shop tools supplied.
- Heavy Equipment Technician License is an asset but is not required.
- Available and willing to work over-time as needed.
- Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools but are willing to train.
- Expertise in diesel and gas engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, with a strong focus on following procedures and promoting a safe work environment.
- Eagerness to continuously learn and stay up to date with emerging technology.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
