Bar Security Officer / Door Person
We are currently seeking reliable, professional, and confident Bar Security Officers to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for customers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and secure entry and exit points.
- Check identification and ensure compliance with liquor licensing regulations.
- Manage crowd control and venue capacity.
- Prevent and de-escalate conflicts in a calm and professional manner.
- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances.
- Conduct regular patrols of the venue and surrounding areas.
- Work closely with management and bar staff to maintain a safe atmosphere.
- Complete incident reports when required.
Recommended experience:
- Previous security, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
