Overview
We are seeking a friendly, professional Night Auditor / Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to assist diverse guest needs and enhance guest experience.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate records of guest information and reservations using hotel management software
- Offer guest services such as concierge assistance, directions, and local recommendations
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with tact and professionalism to ensure satisfaction
- Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security for all guests
Accounting & Financial Reconciliation (Night Audit):
- Run the daily night audit function using the hotel's PMS.
- Post and balance all room charges, taxes, food & beverage, and other guest transactions.
- Reconcile daily financial records, verify credit card settlements, and balance the front desk till.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in accounts.
- Prepare and distribute accurate daily reports (revenue, occupancy, etc.) for management.
Administrative & Reporting:
- Prepare various reports for different hotel departments (Housekeeping, owners, management etc.).
- Maintain guest records and ensure accuracy in guest profiles.
- Follow all established audit, security, and emergency procedures.
- Complete end-of-shift duties, including workstation organization and preparing for the day shift.

Experience
- Previous experience in front desk or customer service roles within the hospitality industry is preferred, especially hotel experience
- Strong phone etiquette skills with experience managing multi-line phone systems
- Excellent communication skills, including bilingual or multilingual abilities, are a plus
- Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding guest services in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and procedures is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and composure
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
