Mimico Cruising Club is looking for an experienced and dependable Line Cook to join our Food & Beverage team.
We are seeking someone who works well in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in food quality and presentation, and is a strong team player.
Position Details
- Wage: $23.50 per hour
- Location: Mimico Cruising Club, 200 Humber Bay Park Road West, Etobicoke
- Position: Line Cook
- Schedule: Must be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Environment: Club restaurant, banquets, weddings, special events, and high-volume summer service
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Work efficiently on assigned kitchen stations during busy service periods
- Maintain consistent food quality, portioning, and presentation
- Assist with food preparation and station setup
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and health and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Assist with receiving, storage, and kitchen organization as required
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and kitchen team to provide excellent service
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices
- Food Handler Certification is an asset
- Must be available to work evenings and weekends
