Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial services and possess a strong work ethic, with a focus on delivering high-quality cleaning services. Prior experience in commercial cleaning is a plus. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of resident spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
- Use cleaning supplies and equipment efficiently and safely
- Follow specific client instructions for cleaning tasks and schedules
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Ensure all assigned areas meet cleanliness standards before completing each shift
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies
- Reliable transportation is preferred for timely arrival
- Ability to pass background checks as required by company policy
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
