Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, schematics, and construction practices to ensure efficient and safe plumbing operations. The Plumber will work closely with project managers and other trades to deliver high-quality service and solutions. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills, physical stamina for heavy lifting, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in various settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan plumbing layouts
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely in accordance with safety standards
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other construction professionals on integrated projects
- Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards
- Assist in assembly of plumbing components and related systems as needed
- Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of materials or equipment when required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in plumbing installation and repair within residential or commercial environments
- Mechanical knowledge of plumbing systems, schematics, blueprints, and schematics reading skills
- Familiarity with carpentry, HVAC systems, welding, power tools, hand tools, and assembly techniques
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary for precise installations
- Knowledge of construction practices related to plumbing projects
- Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving preferred but not required
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings
- Willing to relocate for projects
