At Advanced Material Handling we design and manufacture customized heavy industrial material handling equipment for pulp/paper, sawmill, biomass, OSB, cement/asphalt, sugar, OEM and mining industries all across America.
As we continue to grow with an increase of 25% year after year and this past year, we have been awarded a few large fabrications projects for chain drag conveyors systems where the work will project into the next few years. Hence, we are looking to add a highly skilled Painter to join our team.
Currently, we are looking for a Painter at our Abbotsford facility.
Job Description:
- Prepare products for painting i.e.: masking off items not to be painted, cleaning the steel prior to paint
- Preform tasks such as grinding and deburring if required
- Lift and move product as required safely
- Identify safety hazards
- Follow all safety procedures when operating any equipment, including small hand tools
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of work area to help keep the work environment safe
Education & Experience:
- 2 years industrial painting experience
Skills & Abilities:
- Great attention to detail
- Strong communication skills
- Team oriented
- Able to follow instructions
