Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires proficiency in reading schematics and understanding complex HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Diagnose issues with heating, cooling, and ventilation systems using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Weld and plumb components as necessary for system installation or repair.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand system layouts.
- Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to complete projects on time.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and answering questions regarding HVAC systems.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC issues.
- Proficiency in welding and plumbing techniques related to HVAC installations.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical documentation.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA certification) are a plus.
